My story with Christchurch School is recent, but Christchurch has made a difference in my family's life, as it may have in yours. Just a few short years ago, my son came to Christchurch not sure of where he was headed for college or what his prospects would be. He was a good boy with dreams, searching for a way to reach them.
When he graduated in 2003, he was not the same boy. He was a confident and happy young man who had been accepted at every college to which he applied. The difference is not for just a year or two, but for a lifetime.
My wife, Cabell, and I are committed to making our mark on the long-term future of Christchurch through the work of this campaign. We know that there are students now and in the future who will be uplifted, supported, and encouraged by the same experience our son enjoyed - and that experience will change their lives for the good, and forever.
