Leading schools in our peer group maintain endowments in excess of $100,000 per student. Christchurch School's endowment per student is one tenth that figure. Establishment of a sustaining endowment will allow us to preserve and strengthen our school by fully funding scholarships. Growing the endowment is also vital to supporting faculty salaries, housing and benefits so that we might hire and retain the best possible teachers.
