CCS TAKES THE CHALLENGE!

CCS students have entered the 2010 National Green Cup Challenge, the first and only student-driven interschool energy challenge. In keeping with the school’s ongoing movement to reduce its carbon footprint and elevate energy and sustainability goals, the month-long challenge encourages the community to brainstorm new ideas for reducing campus electricity use and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as recycling and water conservation. Throughout the challenge, CCS students will measure and update electrical meter data in competition with other schools in the Chesapeake Chapter of the challenge. Watch our challenge video!
