"students learn to look beyond themselves to their place in the world around them." from the CCS Mission and Philosophy 12/17/2008
CCS students raised money for Christmas Friends (a local charity) by posing for photos with Santa. They collected canned goods for the food bank as admission to watch the senior class take on the faculty and administration in basketball. The Key Club offered a day of babysitting so that faculty could go Christmas shopping. Another group accompanied Dr. White, bringing joy and a helping hand to children at the Rural Infant Services annual Christmas party. Students also spearheaded a Red Cross Blood Drive in Robert S. Phipps Field House, held in memory of classmate Ryan Wilcox '10.
