Micah Keller ’08 has been named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list. The Tewaaraton is described as the “Heisman Trophy of Lacrosse.” Keller, who plays attack at Hampden-Sydney College is one of 64 elite players across the country, in all three divisions, to be named an early contender for the award. Keller is a Preseason All-American who has established himself as one of the nation’s top scorers in Division III lacrosse. He is also projected as a candidate for National Attackman of the Year.
Christchurch Seahorse John Williams ’06 is on the Harlem Globetrotter roster. Williams, whose Globetrotter moniker is JET, played with the UNC Asheville Bulldogs. He was the team’s all-time lead blocker and 20 th all-time leading scorer. He was the Bulldogs sixth all-time rebounder, and one of his blocked shots was featured on ESPN Top Ten Plays. Williams was invited to the prestigious and nationally televised 2011 Final Four Slam, Dunk & 3-Point Championship in Houston, where he finished in second place. While at Christchurch, he was an all-conference, all-state player.
The 6’3 190 lb. guard is originally from London, England and was recruited by Shaka Smart. Okereafor was 2011/12 Prep League Player-of-the-Year and First-Team All-State. He is praised for his outstanding ball-handling and ability to change speeds to create scoring opportunities for his teammates.

 WE CELEBRATE LUNAR NEW YEAR! 2/10/2012 The Christchurch School community celebrated the Lunar New Year this weekend. In preparation for the event, our international students decorated the venue and cooked favorite native dishes from Vietnam, China and Korea. Students from St. Margaret's came from Tappahannock to join in the celebration. A great time was had by all!
