For more than 15 years, Summer Camps on the River has provided campers with fun, engaging, and enriching programs that cultivate the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our campers. During the summer months Christchurch School transforms into a state of the art summer camp. With access to our pristine waterfront and 90+ acre facility to offer campers the opportunity to explore sailing, marine science and fishing while growing as individuals and learning through new experiences.

Summer Camps on the River has a highly trained adult staff ready to help create your camp experience. Many of our counselors are college sailors or pursuing a career in marine science. They are fun, energetic, warm, and excited to share their love of the river and bay with all campers.
All staff must complete a criminal background check and intensive training.
Our Director, Amanda Porter, (804-758-2306 x 177) has over 10 years experience as a residential camp director. Amanda was born and raised on the banks of the Rappahannock River and is a 1993 graduate of Christchurch School. She combines her experience as a camp director and local resident to create magic for all campers. Employment Application |

Boarding Campers = $850
Day Campers = $550
Teen Adventure = $1000
