Algebra I is a foundational course that develops students’ understanding of algebra as a system for representing and analyzing relationships. Rather than treating skills as isolated procedures, the course emphasizes the structure of algebraic expressions, equations, and functions and their connections to real-world contexts. Students explore linear, quadratic, exponential, absolute value, and simple rational relationships through equations, graphs, tables, and verbal models. Core topics include expressions and equations, proportional reasoning, systems of equations, inequalities, functions, coordinate geometry, and introductory data modeling.

Integrated Math 1 is the first course in the integrated algebra 2 and geometry sequence. This course develops advanced algebraic and geometric reasoning by unifying functions, algebraic structure, and geometric relationships. Students engage deeply with polynomial, rational, exponential, absolute value, and quadratic functions, alongside similarity, congruence, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, and geometric modeling. Throughout the course, students analyze mathematical structure, select and justify solution strategies, and interpret behavior across multiple representations, including graphs, equations, tables, diagrams, and verbal models. Honors Statistics is an honors-level course that prepares students for advanced mathematical study by deepening their understanding of statistical theory, reasoning, and application to real-world contexts. Students study the probability and statistical foundations underlying estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression modeling, with applications drawn from environmental science, economics, public policy, and global systems. Students analyze data, model uncertainty, and evaluate claims using formal probability models, sampling distributions, and statistical inference. Emphasis is placed not only on how statistical procedures are performed, but why they work, including assumptions, limitations, and ethical implications. The course culminates in a place-based applied statistics project in which students complete a full research cycle: question formulation, data collection, modeling, inference, and decision-making. Students produce both a technical statistical analysis and a stakeholder-facing recommendation for a real audience.

Honors Calculus I is a dual enrollment course that introduces students to calculus with a focus on construction of knowledge, disciplined inquiry, and applications that provide value beyond school. Topics include Limits & Continuity, Derivatives & Rates of Change, Applications of Derivatives, Integrals & Accumulation, FTC & Accumulation Functions, and Applications of Integrals.
