The daily student experience

An LSP class lasts 70 minutes and includes:
 
  • Individualized planning systems

  • Strategy instruction for reading, note-taking, and test and exam preparation

  • Assistance organizing major assignments, papers, and lab reports

  • Guided reflection on habits, progress, and challenges

  • Practice applying skills across courses

  • Group sharing and peer problem-solving

  • Regular communication with dorm faculty, advisors, and classroom teachers

  • Reinforcement of curriculum across math, foreign language, humanities, and science

  • Practice in self-advocacy: communicating learning profiles and needs with teachers

The LSP Faculty

4full-time instructors bring classroom experience across history, math, science, and world languages, and they understand how learning differences show up in a boarding school setting. They meet students with patience, clarity, and consistency.
