AN EXCELLENT EDUCATION ISN'T LIMITED TO ACADEMICS. CHRISTCHURCH'S CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES SUPPORT AND COMPLEMENT THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM, WHILE CREATING BALANCE FOR STUDENTS BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO DEVELOP INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOLWORK.
Robotics
The Robotics co-curricular finds students working as a team to design, build, and program their own robots. The robots compete in regional, state, national, and global competitions judged by top engineers and scientists from NASA and other prestigious technology organizations and firms. Students develop engineering and programming skills, as well as make professional connections that could benefit them at the college level and eventually in the workplace.
CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS take place each weekday afternoon, from 4-6, and include athletics, community service, performing arts, student leadership, robotics, and outdoor and nature-oriented programs.
STUDENTS PARTICIPATE in three activities per year, a requirement that leads to the discovery of new talents and encourages them to pursue activities outside their comfort zones.
