• Write your name on everything! Labeled items are less likely to be lost.
• Bring Extras: Pack extra socks, underwear, and towels, as they often get wet or dirty.
• Choose the Right Bag: A durable bag or piece of travel luggage that fits under a bed is recommended.
• Pack lightly so you can easily carry all gear by yourself.
• Each dorm room has two separate twin-extra-long-sized beds, a closet, dressers, and window-unit air-conditioners.
• Since gear space will be limited, please keep your packing simple and minimal.

• Sunblock 
• Flea/tick spray 
• Water bottle 
• Empty daypack or backpack to carry water bottles, sunblock, flea/tick spray etc.
• Personal, United States Coast Guard approved lifejackets are welcomed, but not required, as the camp will provide each camper with a suitable, United States Coast Guard approved jacket.
• Bedding, to include a blanket, sheets, a pillow and pillowcase, as well as any other desired bed linen. Please note that the bed/mattress size is twin-extra-long.
• Bath towel, washcloth, and a pool/beach towel.
• Bathroom supplies: toothbrush/toothpaste, shower soap, shampoo, hairbrush, and a shower caddy.
• Clothing, a light jacket, and sleepwear. Plan for hotter days and cooler nights. Here are suggested clothing items to bring:

• T-shirts, shorts, jeans, hoodies/sweatshirts, underwear (pack extras), socks, and pajamas.

• Modest swimsuit and/or swim clothes appropriate for river play, sailing/canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding, and tubing.
• Everyday dry shoes (closed-toe active shoes for running, hiking, games, etc.).
• Strap-on sandals (w/ heel-strap) or water shoes to get wet for rain hikes, river play, sailing/canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding, and tubing.
• NO flip-flops.
• Large plastic bag for dirty clothes & wet shoes.
• Rain jacket and/or poncho with hood.
• Hat with brim to block sun or a bandana.

If your camper is bringing medication, any medically necessary medicines, prescription or non-prescription, must be brought with a completed Medication Authorization Form. The Medication Authorization Form must be filled out and signed by your child’s physician.

Any items lost during the week will be placed in the Camp Lost & Found box. Campers are free to check for missing items in the Lost & Found box at any time. Any remaining Lost & Found items will also be set out during Pick-Up Day for campers and their caretakers to retrieve. Christchurch will make every attempt to return items to Campers during and after their camp week. Camper families are responsible for any shipping costs of returned camper items via mail.
