Student Life
Find What Moves You
From robotics to the river, community service to the stage, there is always something new to try at Christchurch, and students are expected to.
More Than Academics
An excellent education is not limited to the classroom. Co-curricular activities support and complement the academic program while creating balance, encouraging students to develop interests beyond their schoolwork. Every student takes part in three activities a year, a requirement that has a way of turning into a discovery: new talents, new friends, and a habit of stepping outside the comfort zone.

Get Involved
So Many Ways to Take Part
Co-curriculars span athletics, the arts, service, and the outdoors, built to tap into every kind of interest.
Clubs & Interests

Student-run clubs and interest groups give everyone a place to dig into a passion, start something new, and find their people along the way.
The River & Outdoors

The River Immersion Experience connects students to the Rappahannock and local waterways, building outdoor skills like canoeing and map and weather reading, along with a lasting sense of environmental stewardship.
Service, Arts & Leadership

Community service, performing arts, and student leadership round out an offering built to grow diverse skills and give every student a place to contribute.
Three a Year
Built to Push You Outside the Box
Every Christchurch student takes part in three activities each year. It is more than a box to check. The requirement nudges students to try things they might never have chosen on their own, and that is exactly the point. Again and again, it is how a student discovers a talent, a passion, or a side of themselves they did not know was there.
